Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Eskridge Fall Festival has traditionally operated, rain or shine! We know that Kansas weather in late October can be fickle and we will make plans for weather adverse events but we’ll be operating no matter what!

  • We estimate the number of participants each year and try to provide an ample amount of food truck vendors each year. At this time, we typically provide 2-3 so there are options for everyone. Our local cafe (Hilda’s) and gas station (DRB Express) are also open and operating throughout the day as well.

  • There are flush toilets available in the park—although, please be aware that we are currently fundraising to remodel or replace the existing facility. To handle the crowd, we do also place several port-a-potties.

  • The cozy town of Eskridge is home to just about 500 residents. We do block all 4 streets around the Park (Main and Pine, between 4th and 5th Streets) to ALL through traffic, so we can accommodate the parade, car show and other street vendors. Parking can be made on any legal side street. Please inquire about handicapped parking, as we are working on making this event more accessible to all! Check our Facebook page for maps and details leading up to the event each year, as we expect things to change as we grow even bigger!

  • The Eskridge Fall Festival originated in the year 1924 and has been a feature festival for our town for many decades. It occurs every year on the last Saturday of October—even if it falls on Halloween, rain or shine!

The current Festival Board took over in 2019 but Covid-19 prevented the 2020 festival from occurring. In 2021, we moved the Festival to the Eskridge City Park (from Main St) and the results were fantastic. The Festival features a parade each year, but also includes vendors, food trucks, beer garden, live music, inflatables, corn dig, and so much more.
